Hello, my name is Slava Tumash and I am the owner of Advanced Electric of WNC. In January 1990, I came to America to Buffalo NY and attended School #45. Shortly after, I attended High School at Grover Cleveland school. After living in Buffalo NY for 4 years, I moved to the beautiful mountains of Asheville NC where I attended Erwin High School.
After living here for a few years, I met my wife, Zhanna, who lived in Clarkston WA, when she came to visit her family in Asheville. We had a long distance relationship for about one year and then we were married and started a family. Now we have four beautiful children: Roman, Alia, Anthony and Caleb.
I began working for MB Haynes Electric Construction Co. in 1999 and completed Electrical Apprenticeship classes. Eventually, I had enough hours to take and pass the certification exam at which time I received my Electrical City License. Power Plus Electrical Service was another company where I worked and got a lot of my experience as an electrician. A-American Electric, Inc. was the last company I worked for before I had my hours complete, took the Electrical Contractor License test and passed. When I received my license, I decided to start my own company. Now, I am working for myself serving the greater Asheville area with pride, honor and a great sense of community.
